Forward Designs uses wordpress as the platform for our websites for many reasons. For one thing clients can easily make changes themselves, once the website has been set up. For businesses that need to keep updating content on their websites, wordpress ensures that the website is a one-time expense and not a continuous one. WordPress is search engine friendly and very flexible, enabling each website to look unique. WordPress websites are also constantly being updated for security.

Website Design Process
We sit down with you to discuss requirements for your website. If you have a clear idea of exactly what you want, this stage is quick. Otherwise we take the time to discuss and work out with you what options will work best. This may take longer, with a meeting plus some back and forth over the phone and by email.
You send me all text and image content for the website.
I set up a wordpress website on a sub domain. This enables the customer to see live changes immediately and provide feedback.
Once the website is completed to your satisfaction, you give the go-ahead for uploading to your web host.
If you wish, you will be given a lesson on how to manage the wordpress website yourself. You will be able to add and edit pages and text, and change images.
